Congratulations to all participants for their performance at the Panhellenic university exams, whether they accepted at a university department or not. Some of the candidates do not have the financial ability to study the field of their choice or are forced from their family cycle to change study subject. Take into account these hardships, this particular article was created for future scientists of environmental sciences that now are struggling. As detailed below, there is a list of Greek departments and institutions, which their heart of the curriculum relate to environment and natural resources. In that way, the interested participants can choose a department closer to their birthplace or in their permanent residence , which is more affordable and at the same time to initiate studying the field of environmental sciences, that prefer.

A potential
candidate who has already managed to succeed on different department, will be
still able to study environmental sciences? The answer is yes. There are many
departments occupied with teaching about the environment, but not fully
specialized as the departments in the list above. At the departments which will be mentioned,
there are specific directions and special courses directing the students to an
environmental scope. These departments are : chemistry, biology, physics,
agriculture, agronomy, materials science, architectural engineers, civil
engineers, chemical engineers, mechanical engineers, energy and technology
engineers, and some economic schools dealing with environmental economics and
policy.
